call me helga.

I overcame my fear of the sewing machine for an hour or so, and sewed some vintage pillowcases. I'm really proud of myself - even if the lines aren't as straight as the ones I can draw with a pencil.

On a related note, our bed is really comfortable... which makes getting up an hour earlier every morning an even bigger accomplishment. We've started doing P90X {You know, so we can be on American Gladiators. Or something.} and my entire body is sore. So if you see me around and it looks like I'm learning to walk all over again, you'll understand.

  6. this is in response to your comment on camille's:

i read in an etiquette book some time ago, that it's completely appropriate for a kidless couple, who both have full time jobs, to hire a cleaning lade (or man). so you'd totally appropriate in doing so. (if that sort of thing matter to you.)

  7. Thats so great angela! I'm impressed! I wish I knew how to sew!
Good job doing the P90X too! McKane and I always have big hopes for exercise that never amount to anything. For christmas he got me hip hop abs ,which I asked for and have only played once. I got him a stationary bike so he could ride while playing nintendo- He's used it for a total of 5 minutes, Ha ha. How I wish i had the motivation to do something active once in a while. . . I always blamed it on time but now that schools out and I have time, I still don't want to :)
