this is how it goes.

This is where I sit all day everyday.

It's dark when I wake up. I get ready, drive 45 minutes to my office, work for hours (usually involves a thousand emails, design projects, phone calls, business management, meetings, and plenty of laughter), drive home for an hour, make/eat dinner, and... then it's dark again. And I'm tired and sleepy.

How am I supposed to get anything else done?

I love winter, but the shorter daylight hours are killing me. (Atleast I have a giant window in front of my desk so I can enjoy the light during the day.)

  1. I completely understand and agree. I would like to get a few of my own design ideas out on paper but, where can I find time for that!

  3. Winter always killed me..at school and work. I need more daylight hours! I need time to bask in the sunshine! I need time to get things accomplished while the sun is up!

Your window is awesome though. I'd love to park myself in front of a large sunny window all day.

And I wouldn't mind that comfortably large monitor either (someday...)

  8. I don't know how you CAN get anything done at work, with those gorgeous windows! I would be watching for birds.

  10. Haven't I told you before that work is so overrated?

You are like a ghost in the window.

  11. Lack of sunshine is depressing isn't it? In eight more days, the days start getting longer, so we've almost made it over that hurdle. Plus, then it's your birthday after that =).

  12. :) Understand what you mean. I work at home occasionally never managing to even get dressed. It is still dark when I sit down at my desk and it is dark again when I get up.

Good thing that one likes one's job :)
