way of the words.

This is what I came home to yesterday. I laughed out loud for five minutes. Really, who does things like that? I'll tell you: the man I married.

While I was sick with a cold/sinusitis for the past month (ugh), I spent a lot of my free time in bed - sleeping, neglecting my messy house, and reading a beautifully written book (death is the narrator) -- the best I've read in awhile.

  2. I love The Book Thief. Alex recommended it to me and I read it last summer. I even gave it as a thank you gift to my new neighbors who had us over for dinner. Clint's aunt, incidentally. The Jennings. They are fantastic and she loves to read, so I thought she would enjoy The Book Thief. I don't know who wouldn't.

I tried reading that book but couldn't get into it before it was due back at the library. I have every intention of trying again, though.

  8. Glad you finished it. The only bad thing for me about reading it is that nothing else seemed nearly as good for months afterwards. I guess we're all just chasing our first high...

  13. I was so excited to do a happy b-day post with the pictures I took tonight. Well, Clint sorta ruined that. The only one that didn't turn out fuzzy Clint is looking away in. So much for that. Anyhow, I had fun at your pre-birthday celebration. Happy, happy birthday.
