comes and goes like the fits and dizzyspells, like the weather.*

Today the turquoise moccasins made a comeback from my closet. I bought them several years ago on the streets of Chicago during the three months I lived there. They're so comfortable and they make me happy.

*currently loving andrew bird, his whistling, and the new album

  1. When I was 16 I was out shopping and found blue moccasins and I loved them but I called my mom and was like, "Mom, should I buy blue moccasins?" and she responded with, "They have no arch support and what on earth will you wear them with?" Both of which were valid points so I didn't buy them. I've been sad about that ever since.

also, love the color story in that rug, which lived on my inspiration board for a good year. it's the most unexpected array of colors. i like that.

I have a pair of Target moccasins that I wear all the time but these are so much better!

  5. You post pictures of cool shoes. I post pictures of nasty mold. I always knew you were cooler than me.

See, I told you I wouldn't work on that stuff even if you gave it to me. :)

  11. i HAVE those shoes. i found them at buffalo exchange when i went shopping for my high school graduation. mine on the other hand are not very comfortable. probably due to the fact that they had a previous owner who had different shaped feet.
