the measure of your worth can sink your weight in gold.

I'm really sad.

But my herbs are growing! And my husband finds me new music that makes me smile*.

*I'd do anything to share that little joy with my younger brother today.

  1. Profound title dear one...If you can find the smallest thing to make you smile, you have to ask how bad was the day truly. The little things keep us going in the midst of our worst days. The herbs are a delicate beauty today, as is a husbands love. (Hugs)Indigo

  2. :(

Sorry I couldn't talk about it last night, too much for my oh so little heart.

Thanks for making me have red, puffy eyes two days in a row. :) Just kidding. Love you and see you tonight.

  3. I'm glad you've been given a gift to make you smile.

I've never grown anything successfully before -- how lucky you are!

  4. Angela...I can relate. Why do little brothers do this to us? I am sorry that you are sad. All that we can do is hope.

  6. Im only assuming that our younger brothers float in simmilar boats? Im sorry you are sad. If things are bad, they'll get better. Slowly but surely. I hope you and your family are doing well! I miss 30th.

  7. Oh I have been in your shoes!!! It is like a roller coaster ride...there are ups and then sudden downs. Just keep him in your prayers and things will turn around. You never know what it is gonna take for them to finally get it and to see the bigger picture and change their lives around. It was a long road that we never saw an end to, but he was able to beat it and is doing so well now. I hope the same for your brother. I don't know your story, but Im sorry for your hurting heart.

  8. Oh, not sad! That makes me sad, too, and I don't even know what's going on. I'm sure I can't cheer you up, but I'll feel for you anyway. Your herbs are looking excellent.

  11. I know you probably don't need cheering up for said sadness, but lately in my dread of mornings, I've been excited to wake up to a bowl of Reeses Peanut Butter puffs. So if you need me to, I'll run right over and give you a bowl. If that doesn't work, I hear a little Golden Spoon might do the trick.

  14. For you, because sometimes there is power in words:

Just for today I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful around me and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give to me.
