button eyes and a work of art.

We saw Coraline this weekend in 3D (a must for this movie). It was really beautiful... and super creepy, yes. Stop-motion animation is incredible; isn't it amazing what human hands can accomplish? I left feeling creatively inspired.

p.s. This is what I look like with button eyes. Ha! Sorry if that gives you nightmares.

  2. You should read the book (sorry, I can't help myself).

If I were to have eyes for buttons, I would love a pair as lovely as those.

  3. Don't ever show that picture to Clara or I'll never let you babysit her again. :)

Pretty buttons, but not as eyes.

  4. The previews actually gave me nightmares. The button eyes are just too creepy for me.

Knowing this, I STILL looked at your picture. You're probably going to be murdering me in my dreams tonight.

  5. Actually, it wasn't too creepy. :) The book version of Coraline was really good, but I'm not exactly looking forward to the visuals. I get scared pretty easily.

  6. Oh, it's out already?? I have GOT to see it! I thought it looked so amazing, and so creepy for an animation.

Also? Button eyes do not become you. Sorry. (Don't feel bad, though---they're even creepy on cartoon people.)
