it's been a long time, long time now.

Clint maybe deserves a little apology, because I think my previous post may have portrayed him in the wrong light. You see, one of the reasons I fell in love with him is that he totally gets me. He genuinely appreciates the things I love (yes even the "junk"), cares about my interests (who else would understand why I can't buy things with ugly packaging?) , and encourages me to pursue my hobbies and dreams. I honestly couldn't ask for somebody more supportive. That just needed to be said.

And yes, I got (more) bangs. I like that I can hide behind them at opportune times... like when I accidentally cut somebody off while driving or when I say something stupid.

And I can not get this lovely Beirut song out of my head.

And one more thing: Clint's band is playing a show this Saturday at Sweetcakes. Come be my friend, and eat free cookies with me! Details here on this silly flyer I made.

i never thought i'd miss the days of going to watch spencer play music, but that sweetcakes flyer makes me long for some weekend nights circa 2005.

  2. I will most likely see you there...yes my brother is on of the hot body boys. Funny story....Melissa is his girlfriends and had no idea she had become apart of the band let alone had her name involved in their band name. Which band is clint in? Should be a party!

  3. I keep trying to decide whether or not heavier bangs would be adviseable for me. Jury is still out and now I just really really need a trim.

Despite my best intentions I have NEVER BEEN TO SWEETCAKES. It makes me sad. Maybe I'll have to go on Saturday. I really like free cookies.

  4. great flyer. I miss arizona music.

thanks for the info on the shoes. my old red steve madden flats lasted me a few good long years, they just simply wore out. it wasn't there fault I tried to wear them in the rain and snow all year.

  6. Those are great bangs! I've been debating going thicker with mine, and further back and you may have inspired me to go for it.

    And hello! First time commenter!

  7. I was gonna say. DID YOU CUT BANGS? They make you look so mature. How sad, you're supposed to be my little sister. Not grown up and mature. But I guess they're cute anyway. :)

  17. angela i like your new bangs. You look very cute with them.

I bought a box of the black pepper and olive oil triscuits the other day, b/c the grocery store has been out of my favorite popcorn. I blogged about it. I'm sure you'll love the packaging! :) I really do, that's what made me want to buy the popcorn in the first place. Very appealing. So anyways, I wanted to share that I topped my triscuits with a little melted provolone cheese and pastrami. Very tasty & VERY gourmet. LOTS of flava! Wow.

Also, Curt thinks you are a fabulous photographer. The other day he told me so and said he likes to look at your blog because you take the coolest pictures. And I agree. You sure have lots of talent! Do you do baby announcements? My babe will not be making his debut into the world for a few more months, but I was hoping I could order some from you this summer. I just LOVE the cupcake cards you made me! :) Thanks again!

  20. It was fun to see you yesterday! We need to do something soon. We wish we could have gone to Clint's concert, but I don't think Gracie would have appreciated it.

  21. hello dear, i just found your blog and it is genuinely lovely. <---i don't overuse that word (unlike most of blogdom); so when i use it, i mean it.

    i'm inspired to cut bangs.

you're basically living the life i've always dreamed of! artistic job, with a loving husband in a band.

    you're lucky.
