gold in the air of summer.

It feels like I've been printing up a storm lately. Last Saturday I spent all day with the letterpress working on an 8x10" print for this swap. It's gonna be better than Christmas when all of the other prints arrive in my mailbox; I can hardly wait.

Here's a little preview of mine. I printed some extras to sell and give away, so stay tuned.

Kind of unrelated but not really: I've decided it would be very nice if my body didn't want/need 8 hours of sleep a night.

  1. oh, i love the blue and yellow combo! jordan (from Oh Happy Day) will teach a letterpress class here in SF and i'm very tempted to enroll but i have so many things in my plate right now that i don't think its the right timing.

the swap sounds heavenly, hope you'll share some pics here so i can at least admire beauty from afar :)

  4. I feel the same way about sleep, I could get so many more things done if I didn't NEED it.

  11. I realized it has been a while since I visited your blog. Fun stuff going on. I love the letter pressing. Did I see some of your work at my parents? Anyhow, I am super glad you didn't get sick. I did lose 5 pounds from all the puking. But, I gained it all back and I am thinking 2 living children is plenty. (I feel like a have the flu during 80% of my pregnancies)

  15. is that a hot air balloon i see?

my mind and body run best on 8 hours of sleep, minimum. think of all the uninterrupted alone time we could have if we didn't have to sleep.

    mmmm
