bitter melodies turning your orbit around.

What did I accomplish today? Basically nothing. My day was wasted on account of broken promises and my foolish thinking that customer service isn't always a royal pain in the (Apple at SanTan Village... you failed).

Meanwhile, my house is a mess. I can't keep it clean. Piles everywhere. Papers, shoes, laundry. Everywhere.

On the bright side, atleast it's still colorful when it's messy.

And we got tickets to see Wilco in June.

  1. i hate to say it, but the piles are pretty much all yours.

meanwhile, the area designated to my watchful care--the sink--sits empty of dishes and recently scrubbed.

    burn.

  2. Will you come take pictures of my piles and make my house look as great as yours does when it's cluttered?

  6. Yesterday my house had been clean for THREE DAYS IN A ROW. I was beside myself with glee because I cannot recall the last time that happened. It is now dirty again.

At least your messy now is just messy. I now know what dirty is and it involves half chewed animal crackers, dribbled juice, and things dragged from garbage cans. *shudder*

    I love your plate wall.

  9. I love your decorating style. The thing that makes me so jealous is that I can assume that much of it comes from thrifting (like the plate?)! You have such a great eye. :)

  12. May is a perfect month to start. Who else really appreciates great restaurants that could join our club?

  13. I hear you about the piles... I need a maid.

I saw your Seesaw Designs blog, which I love btw, on Jordan Ferney's/Oh Happy Day's list of favorite blogs (I'm sure you're on many)... I just wanted to tell you that I thought that was pretty cool!

  14. My house is continually messy/messier as time goes by. It's hard to maintain my home and work full-time, too.

Also, sorry to hear about your accident. I've been in a few car accidents and I still can't calm down when I drive on the freeway. Glad to hear you're okay, though.

  16. Wait, THAT'S your mess? My clutter eats your clutter for breakfast. Also, nice plate wall. We did a very similar one at Sunset. Check it out:

  17. I just found your blog...and can I say I am hooked! I love everything and look forward to seeing your posts pop up in my Google Reader. =) I have to say I was never a big fan of plate displays....and then I saw yours! Now I can't stop thinking about how I want one. Today while I was out and about at Green Ant and Elemente in SLC I tried to find some cool plates, as well as scowering Etsy...and no luck. =( So I was wondering if you will sell me yours...no, but seriously where did you score all those cool plates? Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated!!!!! jennicaweeks@hotmail.com
