you'll see me hangin' in a new york gallery.

modern art = i could do that + yeah, but you didn't

We think that equation is hilarious. And we also love this new painting purchased for our home.

  1. I am obsessed with that new painting. Where did you get it? I found (not a painting but a print by Eduardo Chillida @ Goodwill & am kicking myself for not buying. $7.99 was too steep that day apparently.

  2. I too love that quote.

Lucky you have art! I'm jealous!
Have you been to Scottsdale Contemporary Art's Museum {I'm sure you have.} Just wondering if it's worth paying the entrance fee. I love modern/contemporary art museums!

  3. This cracked me up! Every time I see some modern art pieces I tell whoever I'm with..."I could DO that. And sell it. And make money." And they laugh at me. :)

  10. i love that equation. so funny and strangely reminds me of conan's "so you think you can dance + how about now?" episode clint told me about.

at my house, the equation is:

coleman family art = well, we tried it ourselves

i am a "doer" at heart, which is why i like to create my own art for my house. (also my cheapness figures into it).

i miss you a lot and have been wearing all your shirts. thanks, again. don keeps asking "is that a new shirt?" and i keep answering, "new to me."

  12. That looks like torn up black construction paper. I hope that's not rude, but that's as deep as my accountant interpretation of abstract art gets. :)
