leave things to change on their time.

Clearly I can never resist a vintage scarf: great colors, patterns, and an inexpensive way to add interest to an outfit. Perhaps this helps explain why I plan on wearing them almost daily this fall/winter (waiting patiently for that weather).

This week I worked four ten-hour days, and now I'm really enjoying my day off. I think I'll make this a permanent schedule.

Happy weekend!

  5. i love days off!

i've learned to make my school schedule with fridays off.

and if i have online classes, i won't do homework on fridays.

it just feels nice to have a "me" day - although it's usually filled with errands and cleaning!

  12. I really enjoy your scarf collection.

Unfortunately mine is all capped out until I purge a few (unless I find some beautiful vintage Pucci scarves). I actually have a post on deck on what I might do with some of my scarves.

PS - I found a lamp that made me think of you. Are you in need of one? If so I'll send you the picture. Looks like you already have some thrifting buddies but if you ever have room for one more then "CALL ME". I willing to go find new treasure troves & am willing to drive a bit if that is what it takes. I had much luck in Fountain Hills a week ago. Really I think it would be fun to go on a tour de thrift store run.

  13. That is such a cute idea. I have a stash of beautiful scarves/handkerchief's that I adore but have never known what to do with. I might just steal your idea of hanging them.

  15. oooh pretty. i think my new thing this fall is going to be a pashmina. i really want one. and i want to learn how to tie them all different ways. now, to get one...

i love your idea of displaying them though. not only is your house decluttered, but the really make the prettiest decor! actually i just love every picture i've seen of your house- simple, beautiful, and just seems to fit your personality.
