a thing of beauty is a joy forever.*

aztec peak
workman creek falls, arizona

On Saturday, my older brother and his twins took me along to Workman Creek Falls and Aztec Peak (just two hours away). The road you drive up is appropriately named From the Desert to the Tall Pines. I admit I was surprised at how pretty it was.

I had a lovely time with Ryan, Lucy, Elsa, and that amazing pesto chicken sandwich.

*by the poet John Keats (I saw a good movie about him last week with new friend Kate. And then on the drive home from this trip, we watched Mary Poppins and she quoted the same line. It's been stuck in my head and isn't it so true?)

p.s. and some happy news from last week: SeeSaw was included in the Best of Phoenix for 2009!

  1. That is beautiful. Too bad I wasn't invited. Are you pushing me away, Angela?

    :)

Good think you pretty much matched Lucy and Elsa perfectly. Did Clint call Ryan and coordinate that with him?

  19. The ordinary bat that flies around at night, who is a remarkable nim in the air, cannot take off from a level place firefall gold, If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is to shuffle about helplessly and, no doubt, painfully fire fall gold, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash firefall gold.
