Sometimes, spending half an hour in a cozy corner of our house is all it takes to make me feel better. That and a messy bun high atop my head.
where did you find that quilt? that is what I am looking for my son's room. oh, and a messy bun does make things better:)
sometimes just putting on my yellow converse is all i need to make me feel better.
love cozy corners. and you look fantastic, even if all i can see is the top of your head. can we trade hair? i feel like i haven't said hi in a while, how sad for me.. your comments are too sweet, thanks so much.
Good thing you bought the quilt for these pictures. :) I was wondering when it'd make its debut.
Look at you pulling off that messy bun! That quilt looks comfy even on my computer screen.
My hair is in a messy bun too! Twins! Hey, we should get together soon now that school is finally winding up for me and Clint.
Oh I'd die to be able to pull my hair back into anything right now, especially a messy bun. I wish I could do the whole long hair thing but I just can't pull it off. I'm just a short hair kind of girl.
Love your messy bun!! Did you guys go to out east yet? I'm dying to see pics of falling water!
short and sweet. :) these kinds of posts are why i love your blog.
Sounds divine. I love cozy corners. (And messy top-buns, too!)
haha messy bun is the only hairstyle i know right now... sadly, mine doesn't look as good as yours! been considering a haircut so that it isn't possible (or at least not so easy) to do.
when i am there, remind me to ask you about the art of the stiff-arm self portrait. how do you do that? it's like magic.
oh you are so cute!!!!!!
Those are exactly the same two things I need to feel better too! (and a comfy hoodie).
Oh, I love messy buns (they really do make a girl happy) and please do share where you got that quilt ... the grey and the pattern are divine!!
paula and megan:i got the quilt at a small street shop in fallbrook, CA. i think it's one-of-a-kind, so you probably won't find one just like it.. but thanks. i fell in love with it too when i first saw it.
i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one who loves a good messy bun. :D although my husband has threatened to chop mine off, I wear it a bit too frequently. :D
My husband is from fallbrook! Do you mind sharing the shop angela? I love, love it and if the shop carries other quilts (not even that exact one) I am going to drive down there! (I live in Orange County). Thanks!!
HI.YOu are my friends friend. And I wanted to say hi!and I think you guys are super cool.Happy NEw YEar!
missy - the place is called 'labors of love' - horrible website :) http://debslaborsoflove.com/ when i was there, there were definitely not many cool options to choose from (think lots of shabby chic), but i'm sure they have different stuff in all the time. if you're in the area, it might be worth the trip.
Thanks Angela! We are going to be down there in two weeks so I might just check it out. I am a teensy bit embarrassed to ask this, but would you ever design a blog header? I love, love yours! (sorry, I couldn't figure out where else to leave this comment!)
