it has a nice ring when you laugh.

Sometimes, spending half an hour in a cozy corner of our house is all it takes to make me feel better. That and a messy bun high atop my head.

  7. Oh I'd die to be able to pull my hair back into anything right now, especially a messy bun. I wish I could do the whole long hair thing but I just can't pull it off. I'm just a short hair kind of girl.

  11. haha messy bun is the only hairstyle i know right now... sadly, mine doesn't look as good as yours! been considering a haircut so that it isn't possible (or at least not so easy) to do.

  16. paula and megan:

i got the quilt at a small street shop in fallbrook, CA. i think it's one-of-a-kind, so you probably won't find one just like it.. but thanks. i fell in love with it too when i first saw it.

  17. i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one who loves a good messy bun. :D although my husband has threatened to chop mine off, I wear it a bit too frequently. :D

  18. My husband is from fallbrook! Do you mind sharing the shop angela? I love, love it and if the shop carries other quilts (not even that exact one) I am going to drive down there! (I live in Orange County).

  20. missy - the place is called 'labors of love' - horrible website :) http://debslaborsoflove.com/

when i was there, there were definitely not many cool options to choose from (think lots of shabby chic), but i'm sure they have different stuff in all the time. if you're in the area, it might be worth the trip.

  21. Thanks Angela! We are going to be down there in two weeks so I might just check it out.

I am a teensy bit embarrassed to ask this, but would you ever design a blog header? I love, love yours! (sorry, I couldn't figure out where else to leave this comment!)
