sisters and soda.

One of my New Year's resolutions: no more soda.

So of course, on the very last day of 2009, I drank my share of Diet Coke and made a special trip with Clint and two of my sisters to Pop the Soda Shop in Scottsdale. 'Twas a nice farewell to fizzy drinks.

  5. For some reason I am obsessed with these photos! I love the lighting and I really love ice cream parlor furniture (or in this case, soda shop furniture).

I had a New Year's resolution once to stop drinking pop and I went all year without drinking it. I should try it again since now I loooooove it. There is just something about the burning feeling of it going down my throat that I love and all the different options of flavors out there (all the different limeades from sonic and my recent favorite- made at home... Fresca with grape juice).

I cant believe I just wrote that long of a comment about soda pop. I should really get out more. :)

  6. Soda is overrated. But that place was fun and I think it's okay to drink soda when you go to fun places like that.

while i was editing your pictures, cordae was over visiting, and she kept saying "i can't believe how much she looks like her mom..." i've never seen your mom, but i think we all like to look like our mothers in some sense, no?

  14. I love the pic with the wrought iron chair heart-shape near the soda. Symbolic? I stopped drinking soda in high school and haven't turned back since. It gets pretty easy!

  15. sometimes i just want to drink something other than straight water, so tea mixes it up for me.
tea with lemon, honey and a splash of 100% pure cranberry juice. my elixir of choice.
