tell me when my sigh is over.

I've been loving my breakfasts lately. Current favorites:

yogurt parfait
blackberries, blueberries, raspberries or strawberries
a spoonful of delicious Greek Gods honey yogurt
flax seed granola (I got mine at Sprouts)

green smoothie
kale (sometimes I add a handful of spinach too)
almond milk
avocado (just a little bit)
frozen mangos/papaya/pineapple mix

I've had either one of these every day for the past week and it's making me very happy. Thank you sister for recommending both.

  1. I am obsessed with Greek Gods' honey yogurt. Delish. I love with with raspberries and raw walnuts. But the flax seed granola from Sprouts is divine too.

I am going to have to try out this green smoothie! Yum!

  2. I've been having homemade whole wheat waffles with yogurt and berries on top. Sometimes I have it for dinner too. I love breakfast.

  4. Um... I am not about to write down the horrible things that I put into my body for breakfast (what can I say? I like me some bacon fat) but I just came across your blog and I think that you are adorable. Thank you for brightening up my day while I blog stalked you for the better part of the afternoon... You can officially be creeped out now. But serisously don't be. I am just a regular Arizonian who has gotten too much sun.

  6. Sounds delish. A word of warning, though - those green smoothies can cause kidney stones if you have them daily. I've known SEVERAL people who overdid the green kale/spinach/green leafy smoothies (dr. said daily was too often) and ended up in the ER with crystals in BAAAAAD places. Moderation!

I'd kill for some of that granola, fruit and yogurt right now, though.

  10. Greek yogurt and almond milk have been some of my faves lately also. If only my husband appreciated my healthy streak. He's a fast food junky through and through.

  13. yes, eating leafy greens every day will most likely lead to your demise. be very careful...

seriously. sometimes i am ashamed of the rachels of the world. i can say with some authority: eating kale or spinach every day will only do good things for your body. research, people. scientific studies. logical thinking. green smoothies. all good things, every day.
