shines around me like a million suns.

Making me happy: bright and cheery yellow tulips on our table. I decided today that it's going to be a good week.

  10. Pretty flowers. Maybe I should've bought some fresh flowers to start my week off better. But, at least I can think of camel rides to get me through the next three days. :)

  16. I love your wall! I was just taking with my husband about doing a plate wall. love love love! How did you hang them??

  17. brittany - about half the plates are thrifted, but the others were collected from various places online (thomas paul, lena corwin) as well as random stores (ikea, urban outfitters, pier1). i made sure to collect more than needed because you need a good range of sizes for nice contrast & scale. and of course i've found new ones that i want to switch out!

amelia - they're just hung using regular white wire plate hangers that i got at michael's. i was worried they would fall off but i've never had a problem.

  18. Hey there! I just found your blog--so lovely!

We have a random plate wall in our kitchen, too--with three of the same plates, ha! Ah, the far reaches of IKEA and Urban Outfitters, huh? I love your layout. :)
