your books write themselves.

Last week while packaging up some sales from the vintage shop, I found a random Starburst sitting in one of the bowls. The next day I cleared off my desk at home and found a couple more. I wondered how I had misplaced all that candy, because it's not often that I forget where my treats are. When I saw yet another piece sitting on the stairs, I was really confused.

Finally I figured out the culprit: husband. Over the next few days I found Starbursts all throughout the house -- behind the piano music, in my makeup drawer, on my office chair, etc. Little surprises that made me laugh every time.

Maybe it's because a couple weeks ago I got really excited about finding a piece of candy in a purse I hadn't used for awhile...

I like being married to a thoughtful and funny person who knows me so well.

  12. Funny.

But will it still be funny when you find a trail of ants leading to an ant-infested starburst? Only if it's red, 'cause those are the gross ones. So who cares that you are short one red starburst.
