and you're a catch.

26 today.

Celebrations so far have included an awesome movie, birthday breakfast of waffles & ribs at Joe's Farm Grill (ewww, but he loved it), and maybe the best surprise I've ever given -- flights booked* plus tickets to see Pavement, his favorite band of all time.

Happy birthday Clint. You're my favorite.

*We're going to Denver, Colorado. Any tips or suggestions?

  1. What a fun birthday surprise. Yeah for Clint's birthday.

Jen lives by Denver, she might have some suggestions for you.

  2. That is the greatest way to announce you're going to Denver! We actually looked at moving to Denver at one point. I don't know much about it though.

    Enjoy!

  5. Fellow Phoenician here :-). My husband and I saw Pavement in Berkeley, CA a few weeks ago (mutual birthday gifts to each other). The show was one of the best I've seen. I hope they play Unfair -- the crowd went wild. Malkmus was awesome - voice hasn't seem to change at all.

  9. Tips for Denver.

    Visit the US Mint
Eat at the Colorado Mining Company
    Visit Colorado Springs
Try to enter the Pikes Peak Hill Climb race
Have patience with the airport, it's like 100 miles from town and is famous for delays and losing luggage, I spent two days waiting to get a flight out during a big storm.

  10. Happy day clint! The aquarium in Denver was cool. The Ghost Town Museum in Colorado Springs was terrible so don't go there. :)

  13. Denver is so much fun! I spent a few days there at the end of April & it was gorgeous! I stayed at the burnsley hotel and it was fabulous- walking distance from downtown & worth the price in every way! Happa Sushi is awesome, the 16th street trolley is super convenient (16th st. was waaaay too touristy for me, tho), the Platt river bridge is lovely, and delight.com's warehouse is in Denver and I think you can shop directly at the warehouse if you make an appointment. Just a few ideas =) Enjoy your trip!
