i'll take a quiet life.

Hawley Lake, 2010

My memory has been known to be faulty. It's a shame, because a few images can only capture so much, and there are many moments from this trip that I never want to forget. Like lazy afternoons spent visiting with people I love, listening to the pouring rain, laughs shared with siblings I don't get to see very often, hugs from all eleven of my nieces and nephews, being in awe of nature, and feeling entirely content.

  2. Well if your pictures are what content is then I want that life too. Everything looked just wonderful. Isn't nature and family the best.

  5. I attempted to take a picture off the porch at night like that last one. Unfortunately it's proof that our photography skills aren't really comparable. :)

I need your advice- what is the best way to put a plate on the wall.. i have a big stack of plates i've been collecting for my plate wall. I got those circle tab thingys- that you get wet & they stick to the back of the plate & they you hang them. But i figured i'd ask for professional help :)

  10. I do so adore your pictures. Especially those black and white ones.

Makes me want to escape to...anywhere...i guess. As long as it's cooler then here, which is pretty much anywhere.
