go back to those gold sounds.

I lied when I said my favorite part of Denver was the beautiful neighborhoods.

I think it was actually the salted oreo ice cream from the cutest little ice cream shop we discovered while walking around after dinner one night. Seriously, so good. We went back again for lunch the next day.

Or maybe it was seeing how much Clint enjoyed the Pavement concert. Or how funny it was when he apologized to me for not being a rockstar. Or the mid-century bed and breakfast with the nicest hosts ever (sidenote: I totally recommend using airbnb to find a place for your next vacation). Or the vintage store we discovered in Boulder. Or enjoying the outdoors everyday and the really pretty views while hiking.

Nope, it was totally that ice cream.
(And the company, but that's a given.)

  8. Mmmmmmm. Salted Oreo Ice Cream. Sounds amazing. I love food that balances salty and sweet (like Lindt's Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt bars). Next time I'm in Denver, I'll be sure to try out that ice cream.

  22. oh my goodness we lived in CO for the summer and we happened upon this ice cream shop on the last day we were there but didn't have time to try anything. I was so completely bummed. I hope that the place you had dinner was just down the hill from the ice cream shop: Masterpiece Delicatessen. It is incredible!
