to the rhythm, with me.

This week's favorite find: a vintage '50s black lace dress with the sweetest scalloped neckline, found at a thrift store in Denver. It will be listed in the shop sometime in the coming weeks (unless I think of an event I can wear it to, which is unlikely).

I am loving all of the book recommendations; thank you!

And here's some really pretty music for your weekend:

Elle Lefant - Runaways & Ballad of the Metronome
psst...you can name your price and download their album here

  4. Love me a vintage black lace dress. I would like to know where that thrift shop is, although I don't seem to have the same terrific luck as you.

  12. I think you should hold an event to go with that dress, even if it's just watching Breakfast at Tiffany's with girlfriends.

  13. I think you should've worn it to my house last night. Nothing stops Clara from wearing her fancy dresses to non-fancy places.

  15. I throw myself random parties at least once a week; just as an excuse to bake/eat a cake. So I'm sure you could think of SOME random event to celebrate. Heck, I celebrated the deceased inventor of the Maytag washing machine's birthday just to chow on some Funfetti.

And this music is Anthropologie worthy. Love it.
