love and some verses.

I'm reading Pride and Prejudice for the very first time. Needless to say, I've been quite wrapped up in it this week.

  1. I was the same way when I FINALLY got around to actually reading Jane Austen instead of just watching BBC adaptations. The books are so good at just sucking you in.

  7. You should have a mini book club with Alex over that one. It is certainly one of her favorites. She has read it MANY times over. It is sort of her go-to book on Sundays (aside from holy writ). I have not read it yet, but I am a fan of the film with Keira Knightley. Beautifully filmed.

  8. angela! I'm reading pride and prejudice right now to for the first time too! I'm on chapter 32. It has been interesting comparing it to the movie. Usually I read the book then watch the movie but this has been fun the other way since I've seen both versions of the movies.

  15. OK, this is going to sound TOTALLY silly but I sometimes with I could go back and read something for the very first time just to experience that pleasure. My first two would be Pride and Prejudice and The Secret Garden.
