you came with the season.

Over the weekend, we brought home a real tree. It's only 5' tall and pretty cute. We have yet to decorate it, but I decided to string some red ric-rac around the tree to start with. (When we picked out the tree, I took those leftover trimmed tree stumps home with me.)

I also made hot cocoa (twice), ate my fair share of sugar cookies, and went to The Nutcracker. Oh, and I got some cinnamon-scented pine cones so now our house smells like Christmas and it's amazing.

  6. That's it. I need to see your house!

One year, my parents got a real tree, and I suffered for an entire month with allergies. We get buy with our fake one, but it's still pretty!

  16. I love your Christmassy decorations :o) When I was visiting Zac in Oregon last month, we picked up a little "wreath" scented wall-plug in thing from b&bw. I was surprised at how real & fresh it smelled. I have been getting into the spirit by baking & cooking more (it's difficult living in Houston where it doesn't get cold... you must have the same thing in Arizona!). I hope you had a great Monday!
