i don't care for fancy things.

We laid low this weekend after all that mid-week excitement. (Thank you kindly for all of your sweet, reassuring comments.)

Early Saturday morning I went hiking in the Superstition Mountains with a group from church. It was really beautiful; I think I need to do that more often. Then today Clint and I spent the afternoon at a nearby park. I mostly just stared at the pretty water and clouds in the sky while he read and was fascinated by the ducks.

A little bit of nature and sunshine go a long way in soothing my spirits.

This favorite song was in my head all weekend long.

  18. I wish I could grab your pair of heels through the computer screen, and slap them onto my own feet. Everything about them is dreamy.

We tried finding a good hike to go on the other day. We should really try that one. I'm sold. Also, sitting in a park is one of my favorite things to do.

One more thing, I read your post about the scary incident. I don't know how you even lived through that. I would honestly die of a heart attack. I had to take Eric (my husband) to the hospital when he had bad food poisoning, and I broke down crying just looking at the IV in his arm. I'm totally emotional like that, though. I guess what I am saying is that you are very strong for going through that. I am glad he is okay.
