lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all.

Three days in, and I think I'm going to love this year. My main goal is health. I will use judgment and skill in taking care of myself, both in body and mind. That includes several things, ranging from drinking more water each day to eating a 50% raw diet to forgiving myself when I criticize who I am.

Clint's resolution, which I fully support, is to stop shopping at WalMart.

Here's to 2011.

  1. Lovely goals.

I have a love hate for Walmart. Love the low prices, hate everything else about it. The nearest one to us is a good twenty five minute drive, so we never shop there now.

Oh and as for the bangs, I tried my hardest to grow them out, but alas my scissors won!

i also plan to take better care of myself... take things slowly (less anxiety), walk more, eat smaller portions.

  4. I love your shirt.

And I'd love to hear about your raw diet! Seeing as I have only just recently come around on veggies I'm not sure it's something I could do, but I've heard really good things about it.

  7. not sure what Clint's reasons are for not shopping at Walmart but here is a little more ammunition.

Its a really neat site. If you ever want to see a store you shop at profile-just search it. I have never typed something in and had nothing come up. They also keep track of the stores they profile, so there are sometimes good articles or study with positive results. Like Pepsi has taken lots of action over the past couple years to become a better company. Anyway...Happy New year!

  9. No Wal-Mart?! Good luck with that, Clint. It'd probably be easier if they'd hurry up and finish that Super Target!

Way to go on the raw diet goal. You're going to love it!

  11. That calendar is adorable. Love your goals, especially 'forgiving myself when I criticize who I am'. I don't really think to forgive myself when that happens to me. I think I should try.

And oh Wal-Mart... I could do without the low prices most of the time, but the thing that gets me is the whole open 24-hours thing. If only Target did that. Then I would be there all the time.

  13. Great resolution. We took great care of our bodies last year, but this holiday season something crazy happened. Maybe I should go put back the chocolate covered pretzels :(

  14. Love your resolution. and I love Clint's resolution. I think his might be even harder...it's just so easy to hop in the car and go there...is he not going to big box department stores at all, like Target etc., or is it just Wal-mart?

The calendar is pretty adorable I must say...the flowers put it right over the top. :)
