be here now.

For a few days, we were surrounded with family, food and treats. It made for a really beautiful Easter. Now I'm full of love and gratitude (and sugar...that carrot cake cupcake was as good as it looks).

Also, three different people told me yesterday that I looked sad. It kind of took me off guard, even though I have one of those faces that looks mad/sad when I'm not smiling. Note to self: smile more, because you are beyond blessed.

  3. You captured your weekend perfectly.

I'm the same way with not smiling. People always ask, "are you mad?" It kind of drives me crazy.

  5. When I'm not smiling I look really angry. Some of us are just blessed with those kinds of faces.

  6. Family is the best.

I have that type of face too where people ask if I'm sad when I'm not. Boo. Here is a scientific diagnosis of the issue: http://blog.krisatomic.com/?p=1617 And by scientific I just mean awesome.

my acting professor last semester told me that i always looked troubled. he said "even when your smiling your face holds a large amount of anxeity."

  23. Love those photos! Beautiful!

I must have one of those faces too. I seem to ALWAYS get told that I look sad. Even my husband tells me I look sad. Ha! It's so terrible because it's always the times when I am the most happy.

  28. my kids are so stink'n cute on your blog. I always rejoice a little when you post their pictures. (And then I check to see if anyone comments on how freakishly cute your nieces are. And sometimes they do. And it makes my day)
