It's kind of impossible for me to sit and watch TV without feeling like I'm wasting time. My hands always have to be busy with something else. During conference on Sunday, I decided to occupy them with some mindless sketching. So I found a tiny 3x5" drawing pad in my stash of art supplies from college, and pulled out a brush and watercolor paints. In a couple hours I had filled over twenty pages with mini watercolor doodles.
It was fun and made me feel like a little kid. Maybe I'll even hang some of them up on our fridge with my pretty fabric magnets.
