your sun when there is none.*

It was surprisingly cold here the past several days. I took the opportunity to wear tights and scarves and sweaters one last time before summer ensues. And I kept our heater off so I could wrap myself up in blankets.

My sister Rachel made this quilt for us. Stripes on one side, triangles on the other. I love it, a lot.

On a similar note, I miss my out-of-state sisters, a lot. I would probably cry about it except I'm fairly certain I've already reached my tear quota for the day.

*happy note: We're going to the Black Keys concert this week! I can't wait.

  4. What a beautiful quilt. I just don't see why we all can't live right next to our family and friends. I can relate though, I have been missing my family a lot lately too.

Oh and about thrifting, I can relate to sometimes being burnt out. But I'm glad you keep going because you always hit the jackpot.
