as we bow and swirl.

There are piles everywhere around here. We've been pulling things out of all our drawers, cabinets and closets. How did I end up with boxes and boxes of books? Oh yeah, I love them.

Clint confessed that lately he doesn't get excited when I call him, because it seems like most the time I'm calling about a new problem at the house. Then I confessed the same, because it seems like most the time he's calling to add another thing to my to-do list. We will both be so relieved to finally move in next weekend.

listen to: Alexander - A Million Years
(I already shared it on Twitter, but this happy song has been on repeat all week.)

  1. yes. i'm happy you posted despite the move.

i'm cracking up about the phone comment.man, how i remember that feeling. graham and i have both concluded that we'll NEVER build our own home because of the stress in decision making.

and books are happy things (and heavy!) things to pack. don't get rid of them. you'll regret it. I PROMISE!

  3. I love boxes of books. But I've finally learned to pack them in many small boxes or they may not be able to follow me around aka I am still working on push-ups.

    Good luck with the move!

  5. My husband has a SERIOUS book addiction too, and now I'm thinking I'll have to tell him he can only buy a book if they have a pretty cover like the ones in that photo! haha :)

  8. what, you're on twitter? how could i not know this. i can't wait for you to move either. it's really stressful! what a relief it will be. packing up is kind of fun though, because you can get rid of all the things you don't want.

  9. the idea of moving is grand. the idea of something new is exciting. but the actual pack up and move stresses/to dos/business is...not so fun. totally know where you're coming from, as i am in the midst of packing up my own life. whew...no small job, that's for sure!
    good luck with everything!
