i change shapes just to hide in this place.

I like the mornings when I wake up with some crazy bedhead hair.
(My favorite is when it looks like I came straight out of an 80s hair band.)

I also like sleeping in Clint's old t-shirts. They're oversized and soft and perfectly comfy.
(So maybe I don't mind when I accidentally shrink another of his every now and again.)

p.s. Wondering if it's time to say bye to the plate wall for good.

  5. I love the plate wall-how they are random and sporadic. Very cute. Keep.

  6. I'm with everyone else that I'm a big fan of the plate wall. I like stealing Mike's shirts too - sometimes they fit me pretty well!

  7. I love the plate wall. Whenever I start to get sick of art on a wall I just rearrange how things are hung and everything feels brand new. Just an idea!

  8. i feel like your wall plate is your icon (probably because it's profile pic too.) it embodies your personality and genius style so well.

with that said, i totally understand the need to re-vamp when you move into a new place. either way it's going to be a stellar style. i really am SO anxious to see it in person someday!

  15. Shrinking the husband's sweaters and shirts is my favorite way to acquire new clothes. : ) I can relate to the bed head, too, because I have a pixie cut and use wax in it. I often wake up with a mow hawk.

  19. sleepy hair- oh you are almost my constant state now. Can I admit to not brushing my hair all day or even for 2 days. I justify it by calling it bedhead, pretending I am like jennifer aniston, all the while hoping it looks at least okay. and do I ever know the 80s hairband look! esp when I had bangs. it was baaaad.

  24. i love this! as i sit here, i'm in matt's boxers and t shirt too. haha. there's just something about them.

p.s. i love the plate wall! but new homes call for mixing things up a bit. i'm sure wherever your beautiful plates end up, it will be fabulous.

  25. i would put your plate wall away for awhile. it's refreshing to put up something different. you can always break it out later.

i am the antithesis of big hair.

  27. I would move into the new place and wait a few weeks before deciding on the Plate Wall. You are so creative and shouldn't let the plate wall stop you from dreaming up something better! If no new ideas WOW you then go with the plate wall again.

I just assume that a new home deserves its own, unique voice. Cheesy right?

  28. Oh I love the plate wall! Although, I do know sometimes it's nice to just start all over in a new place.

I adore the birth announcements! So wish I could afford you :)

  30. delurking to say no, don't get rid of the wall! :o)
although all of us who like it can continue to peruse your previous photographs of it.
on second thought, I know if you remove it you'll replace it with something else amazing and I'm curious to see what that is.

  31. i also really like the plate wall, but I am actually leaning towards retiring it. I can't exactly figure out why, but that's my gut.

Maybe because it is so distinctive and iconic of your old place, that it is time start fresh. If you do keep them, I would arrange them differently, maybe instead of a horizontal-ish band try vertical-ish.

  32. A T-shirt is a shirt which is pulled on over the head to cover most of a person's chest. It is typically made of cotton fibers and others. Thanks for inspiration article I am totally impressed for this post.
