so sentimental.

Another favorite find, another vintage dress with colors, pattern and material to adore. (Also, I'm still excited about our built-in closets.)

I enjoyed coming across all sorts of things while packing — notes and drawings from Clint in high school, funny photos with best friends, letters that tell a love story, binders of design work from college. Being so nostalgic makes the process take much longer. And seeing just how much stuff I own makes me wish I was a minimalist.

Have a great weekend! Ours will be a little bittersweet — saying goodbye to our first home and neighborhood, and then moving into the new place. I'm exhausted, physically and emotionally, but really happy.

  1. I am a sucker for vintage dresses. Hey since you will be living closer to me, how about we go to that new thrift store that is opening up on Sat.

Can't wait for a tour of the home that you are working do hard on.

P.S. = I'm thinking of going minimalist too;-) Stuff is so cumbersome at times I tell you. Wait maybe we should cancel that trip to the thrift store.

  3. I am preparing to move to and have also found nostalgia slowing me down. Did ibreally need to read all of those notes from high school, long forgotten in a box in the garage?

Wish I was a minimalist! Maybe in the next house.

Moving is so bittersweet. I'm sure moving into an amazing home will make the transition a bit easier.
The birth announcements are gorgeous and I love the plate wall but totally understand starting from scratch in a new place.

I would love to do newborn pictures for you one day:)
