far, but not too far.

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Utah for a week to visit family and spend time in Salt Lake with some friends, old and new. Packing is one of my least favorite things ever. Choosing that many outfits at once and trying to fit everything into a suitcase? Takes me way too long.

Based on the whirlwind my life has been the past several days (who am I kidding - more like months), it's going to be a really nice vacation. Clint is staying home. While he claims he is going to miss me after 25 minutes of playing his guitar at full volume, I'm betting it will actually take three days of eating baked Cheetos for dinner before he wishes I was around.

I always have to put together a packing spreadsheet a week or two before I leave. Packing is haaard.

  3. I hope you have a really awful time.

Of course I don't mean it, I am just "in the depths of despair" that I'm can't come. Really!

I hope you have a really wonderful time.

  5. i am seriously the WORST at packing for trips and always end up just wearing the tshirts that i bring for my pajamas! kind of embarrassing. and my husband is totally the same--i think he secretly loves when i leave so he can eat top ramen and donuts for every meal :)

  6. Have fun on your holiday! I don't think that packing is anyone's favourite thing. It is certainly not one of mine.

  7. I'm terrible at packing as well. I can't concentrate enough for it so I just throw things in my bag, then arrive at the destination and realise that none of the items I brought along go with each other :S

  10. Angela,

I really love reading your blog. You're realistic and inspirational - a fine combination. :)

Today I'm loving the flats in the picture. I can never find any that look as cute as these. Do you mind sharing the source of them? I'm betting vintage, but it's worth a shot. The blue ones alone are to die for!

    Thanks,

    Rachel

  17. Oh, I take way, way, way too long to pack! It's so embarrassing! But I'm very comforted to hear I'm not the only one who deliberates so. :)
