in that dream, moving slow through the morning.

By seven in the morning, our house is bright and glowing thanks to all the windows. Early this morning, before seven, there were a thousand birds chirping. When I opened my eyes and turned to look at Clint, he was already awake and mumbled that it felt like we were sleeping inside an aviary. Aside from the annoying factor, there's something kind of wonderful about being woken up every day by singing birds and natural light.

On another note, this evening we hosted a large family dinner. It makes me really happy to have kids running through our halls and climbing in the big trees out front.

Local friends... we're looking for renters for our other home. It's a nice place in a really great neighborhood in East Mesa. If you or anyone you know might be interested, email me for details.

  16. Your dining room is perfect for pictures because of that awesome window. :) Oh, and we moved somewhere with trees to have birds. I like the birds better than no birds because birds mean trees. Got that? Thanks again for hosting!

  17. Oh these glimpses of your home are killing me. I need a full video tour or something. I love how bright it is- you are so lucky you have so many window.

One of my favorite things to do in the world is to host dinner parties and I can just imagine how wonderful it must be to do so in your own home. I can't wait to be in that position someday!
