and we are all together.

A little peek at the last few days, which were spent in Utah at my family reunion.

There was time in the city, an afternoon in the mountains, our own fireworks show, a day boating on Utah Lake, lots of late night visiting, and a fair share of mocking each other (out of love of course).

Clint and I had to come home a little early to get back to work. And now my two months of on & off vacation this summer are over... I have a lot of catching up to do.

  22. I hope you know we are all sitting around looking at your blog making sure we "made the cut". I will sleep a little better knowing me and my two little darlings made it.

I'm really glad you guys came, but bummed you had to head back early.

I'm hopeful next year is the year all 9 of us make it.

If you have time and you love me, could you (or Clint?) possibly go water my basil some time on Friday? It's in the backyard in a purple pot. There are pails on the BBQ and a water spout by the window across from the fire pit.

I feel silly for typing that instead of calling you. But you know how not quiet it is here. :)

  31. I find it so good that you can show a glimpse of how beautiful the people in your life are (and so is all of nature) by your pictures.
I think it is the main reason I would like a camera for myself.
    Much love, Ana

Oh for Pete's sake, you Mormons are such a good looking bunch! Every time! I can't get over how cute everyone in your Church always is!

However disturbing and absurd I find your religious beliefs to be, I will never ever dispute the fact that you guys churn out the best looking human beings in America, hands down. At least in the white-person world, I mean.

My friend says it's because most of you are from Scandinavian/Danish/Swedish/Euro-blonde-what-have-you-stock.

I'm sure you'll delete this post as it mentions your religion and you want to sweep any mentions of your religion under the table and just focus on the cute breakfast photos and flowers and artsy clothes, but I just had to say it! There needs to be an essay on why Mormons are better looking than most!

  35. anonymous,

haha i love this comment! i tend to agree... we produce some fine-looking people. i'm not sure what it is exactly, but one thing i do know is that because of our faith, WE ARE HAPPY. and that always makes a difference in what somebody looks like.

p.s. i welcome religious discussion here, to some extent. i'm not trying to hide anything.
