drawing crazy patterns on your sheets.

I have a lifelong dream of being a textile designer.

When it comes down to it, that's the main reason I love vintage fabrics and dresses and Vera scarves and envelope liners and old books with great covers. Prints and patterns (and color, obviously) inspire me to no end and leave me wanting to create.

I'm not sure when or how, but someday I'm going to do something about that dream. Hopefully soon. Perhaps some tea towels or some fabric to start with...

  15. Please do. I have the perfect fabrics in my mind that I need for our house, but they don't exist. Can you make them happen?

I've been so frustrated with fabric lately. The old stuff takes some hunting time, all the new good stuff is so darn expensive and there is lots of beautiful things that don't exist yet. Run with this idea Angela...run with it. And then give me the family discount :)

(And this one is for Clint, "I totally had been thinking of doing this." Hah, but really, if you could make this one flower fabric for me with peonies in peacock blue, purples, deep pink and leaves of olive for lucy and Elsa's room that would be swell :)

  23. I have always had the same dream. I actually signed up for classes a couple of years ago at a private school, but it was waaaay over my head. I am also not really artistically inclined, so it was super intimidating!
