sheer simplicity.

I haven't been taking many photos lately. But I have been enjoying a simple life: waking up early to make small feasts for breakfast, loving some laid-back weekends and summer storms, watching Shark Week and standing by my opinion that the ocean is the scariest place of all time, and trying to get serious about planting a garden soon.

  3. how you manage to make breakfast looks so beautiful, continues to baffle me.

i've heard so much about shark week, but i've yet to see any of it in former years. i think i'm okay with that.

  4. I love shark week. Since my semester ended I've been filling my time with cleaning, reading and riding my bike. Honestly, that's really what I do most days. Blogging has kind of taken the back burner...

  10. Good luck with the garden Angela! We're skipping fall gardening this year, but hope to get back into it in spring. I found this chart a few weeks ago and thought you might find it useful. :) http://gardnersofeastvalley.org/gardnersofeastvalley.org/AZ_Planting_calendar.html

  11. I hope you're not bothered that Clint took Clara on a little date today. :) Ha ha. She sure felt special, but can't figure out how Jason is older than Clint since Clint is taller.

Next time I see you, let's plan what to put in our gardens and then we can go buy seeds. Kay?

  12. I'm serious- if you want me to help you dig and work with some soil, I would love to. I really love working in the dirt. And I love helping people begin a love of gardening. You have my number. I'm free weekends. :)

  13. seriously! The ocean is so scary!

  14. Our grow box was so easy to make. We bought good dirt from the place that sells rocks, it was also very cheap. I know someone with a truck you could fill with dirt.

I may not be watching shark week since andrew wants to do a shark encounter and scuba dive in Hawaii this month. Ignorance is bliss right?

  15. Alicia's totally gonna help me with my garden this fall! Can't wait!

What is this Shark Week? I guess I need to go do some Googling. All the kewl kids are talking about it.

  19. my first thought when I read your title was nylons. Is that Costco's cinnamon raisin bread? My boys beg for it every time we go to Costco. I'm mean and say no.
