it takes an ocean.

I took a quick trip to California with my sister Anna and her two little ones, Clara & Hazel. There's never a dull moment when you're with Clara (here's a little proof), and it was really great to spend time with my oldest sister Emily and her family.

Plus, Clint always likes me better after we've spent a few days apart.

sometimes the comments you make about your husband make him sound like a real jerk!

then you don't know my personality, or my husband's. he's the funniest and kindest person i know. we like to joke a lot -- i know that can come across the wrong way sometimes.

  5. In complete contrast to the comment above, I think you are absolutely lovely. It's so apparent that your heart is good and that you have a happy, healthy marriage. Thank you for being a beautiful blog to come and visit.

  6. anonymous, angela is simply reporting the facts: i actually am a pretty big jerk.

for instance, sometimes i venture onto people's blogs and leave anonymous comments critiquing the dynamics of their marriage, which, i must say, is pretty dang jerky of me.

  10. anonymous comments are the best, so entertaining.

A little bit of space sometimes does a marriage good, but maybe I'm a real jerk;)

  11. Clearly, Anonymous isn't married. My husband would love it if I got out of his hair for a few days.

Honestly, people who don't get humor/sarcasm on blogs really shouldn't be commenting on them.

Loving your pictures lately. Want to come second shoot for us? :)

  12. I think I'm going to start a blog named anonymous. Clearly they have no clue what either of your personalities are.

Thanks again for coming with us. I need some pictures from your camera. NEED NEED NEED.

  14. That's it. I need to have one of my sisters move to California!

Don't worry, I think the rest of us appreciate our husbands more when we miss seeing them for a few days, and visa versa. Not like I'd want to do that too often, but still....

  17. P.S. Your husband's comment is hilarious! It's so strange to me that people take the time to leave mean, anonymous comments.

also, i laughed when i read your tweet about your niece blowing so much money on apps. reminds me of the summer i lent my little brother my cellphone since i was going abroad. the first i bill was over $300!

  19. Angela and Clint!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a little late in wishing you congratulations! Woot woo! I'm so excited for you guys! Rich will be so excited too!

I think Anonymous is just jealous that Clint has you and wanted to make sure he was treating you right! :) Which we all know that he is and if he wasn't you'd knock some sense into him! ;)
