go ahead go ahead, throw your arms in the air.

2011 was a life-changing year for sure.

We bought an old house, moved in, and started what has become a never-ending project. I went through a stressful but rewarding career change. I saw a naturopath and took control of my health, ate 50% raw and kept longing to be a mother. We almost lost our patience a few times and then were surprised with baby news at just the right moment.

Plus there were a lot of great little things in-between the major events: like vacations here and there, hot air balloons and scarves in hair, that time Clint almost died or so I thought, exploring around town and loving our beautiful state.

I know 2012 will change our worlds even more.
(My two main goals are to have this baby, then lose all that extra weight :) And of course I'll be adding some work/project goals to the list as well.)

Happy New Year!

  7. Ha! I love Clint's suggestion! Toddlers are awesome because they're way more interactive but then again newborns sleep all time so it's a toss up! :)

Beautiful goals! I'll join you on the weight loss. I wish I had baby weight as an excuse!

  8. Yes, I think 2012 will be super. I am excited for it and to meet baby! And you'll be surprised how much you'll love/miss the newborn stage. Believe me.

  9. So excited for you! And don't worry about the weight loss. The secret is to breastfeed. Nursing takes the weight right off. (Trust me, I gain 45 pounds with my pregnancies!) Here's to 2012.
