As you can see, my baby shower this past weekend was amazing. I'm still overwhelmed thinking about all of the perfect details... letters hanging from citrus trees, an alphabet-themed photobooth, delicious boxed lunches, personalized letter charms for all the guests (handmade by Lynette Andreasen), pretty flowers and centerpieces, typography and design everywhere.
On top of all that I got to spend the afternoon celebrating with so many dear friends and family, who are sweet and beautiful and generously showered me with a ton of adorable gifts. Thank you thank you; I love you guys!
Simply put, it was a wonderful day.
A huge shout-out to Debbie and Jessica for their creativity/party planning, and to my sisters, mother, and in-laws for helping with the food and everything else. Everything was above and beyond thanks to them.

Oh my goodness! So many great details and colors!
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm curious if "M is for..." Baby girls name?! I know. I know. You're waiting to spill the beans on the name (I'm sure I'll do the same.) Can you tell I'm the most impatient person ever?! Ha!
Glad you had so many beautiful ladies there to spoil and shower you. You deserve the best!
it is... my father-n-law showed up at the shower with a balloon that he had written her name on, so a bunch of people know now. i feel like i have to see her before i'm 100% sure though, you know? i just can't go announcing it on the blog already. maybe i'll email you ;)
Deletewow- it looks like a wonderful shower- we just threw my sister's and it was a circus theme! love that you are wearing a dress with a belt! toooo cute!

ReplyDeleteI think I might know what M stands for if it's the same as a comment you left on a certain blog (trying to be discrete) that had asked for favorite baby names. Am I right? :)
shalynna, that's jessica (maiden name: tippets) - she went to poston and mtn view, so you probably would know her?
Deleteand i'm not sure which M name you are referencing but i'm guessing it isn't the one because the one we've decided on is something that was never previously on my list. and it's a name that i know lots of people probably won't like ;)
YES! I made it onto your blog and to the bestest most magical baby shower. I still love that Clint came and helped unwrap the gifts. Your lady friends sure put together a great party.
