It seems impossible to get anything done with this baby around. But can you blame me? Look at that face. Yesterday I think all the lack of sleep caught up to me; now I'm feeling a bit under the weather. The good news is we pretty much spent the entire day in bed and that seemed to help.
-----------------------------
seeing
Margo smile! (Don't tell me she's too young for them to be real; I swear she gives me legitimate smiles.)
------------------------------
tasting
Almonds have been my go-to snack lately.
------------------------------
hearing
Andrew Bird, perhaps my favorite musician. We went to his show this week, and I was reminded of his brilliance.
------------------------------
smelling
A clean baby, just out of the bath. Is there anything better?
------------------------------
touching
Her chubby little cheeks and double chin, oh my.

what a beauty!!
ReplyDeleteShe has the sweetest little face!
ReplyDeleteI love the Margo version of five senses. So many fun things to see, touch, and smell. She's a doll.
ReplyDeletep.s. Did you end up taking Margo to Andrew Bird? If so, how did she do?
ReplyDeleteno, wasn't brave enough. she is kind of a fussy baby and cries a lot. so i had my mom come babysit. and then i missed her the whole time :)
DeleteYa, I'd be the same way. Maybe when she's a bit older eh? :)
DeleteThere is nothing better than snuggling in bed with a good-smelling baby. Look at her hair!!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! And her little dress is just the cutest!
ReplyDeleteshe looks just like you.
ReplyDeletelies.
Deleteoh wait, you mean the double chin? yep.
that's some top notch self-deprecating humor.
DeleteJonah's sitting on my lap staring at Margo. I think he has a crush on her. hehe!
ReplyDeleteThe smiles are real. I read they first respond with smiles to your voice and later connect your smile with theirs. Don't let anyone tell you it's just wind!
ReplyDeleteShe is STUNNING. And PS love her name.
ReplyDeleteMargo is so sweet. Angela if you haven't already tried the Moby wrap you totally should. It's a lifesaver to get pretty much anything done. Newborns kind of stress me out and it's pretty much the only thing that keeps me sane durning the first 3 months.
ReplyDeletethanks, abby. i have a moby wrap & she seems to really like it. i need to get better at wrapping it on me quickly & i'd probably use it more.
DeleteShe is absolutely beautiful! Wow!
ReplyDeletesuch a doll! i hope you feel better soon soon soon!
ReplyDeletep.s. andrew bird is one of my favorites too! i would love to get to see him in person.
Oh my goodness. Breath taking little baby.
ReplyDeleteI agree!!! The laughs are real!!! Who made up that "it's gas" nonsense??
ReplyDeleteNew baby smell ahh the best thing ever. Freddie smells like a kid now. Still love it.

She is so beautiful, don't let anyone tell you her smiles aren't real :) And I LOVE Andrew Bird. He's definitely my favorite.
