written in the air.

Yesterday something came over me and I became a cleaning maniac zipping around the house (with a baby strapped to me half the time), putting everything in its right place, clearing out closets, vacuuming and even wiping down baseboards. Who knows where that came from, but it was much needed, and I'm certainly ready for the weekend now. Five senses for today:

-----------------------------
seeing
My new pretty little painting from Beth, and a lot of colors around the house.

------------------------------
tasting
A green smoothie every single day. Right now I'm loving spinach + almond milk + frozen banana + almond/peanut butter. It's so simple and tastes like a milkshake. Thank you Anna for the suggestion.

------------------------------
hearing
A new song: Grizzly Bear - Yet Again and replaying an old favorite: Lykke Li - Dance Dance Dance

------------------------------
smelling
Rain. Monsoon season is in full force, and it's been raining during the nights this past week.

------------------------------
touching
My toes... time to regularly practice yoga again. I decided it was a sign from the universe when GE mailed me a new yoga mat ;)

your link for the yoga mat from GE is not right, i think, and i want to know what it is. i could really use some yoga in my life! how often do you do it? (or you know, how often would be ideal if i am already exercising a lot? let's chat about this the next time i see you ;-) )

    1. the link is right - GE launched some campaign with facebook about being healthy, and i think they wanted me to promote it or something so they mailed me yoga mats. i figured i could atleast link to it :)

my favorite yoga of all time is the P90X yoga video. it is hard, and i can't get through the entire thing unless i've been doing yoga consistently for awhile. so i usually do the first 45 minutes of it. yes, let's talk more when we see each other next (!)
